These terms apply to your use of www.mentalhealthofmiami.com and to the text messages Mental Health of Miami Inc. ("Mental Health of Miami," "we," "us") sends about appointments. By using the website or agreeing to receive our texts, you accept these terms.
Website information is not treatment
The content on this website is general information about our practice and services. It is not medical or mental health advice, and reading it or contacting us does not create a therapist-client relationship. That relationship starts only after intake and your consent to treatment.
Not for emergencies
Do not use our website, contact form, voicemail or text messages for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.
Appointment text messages
- Program: Mental Health of Miami appointment texts.
- What we send: appointment confirmations, reminders, schedule changes and cancellations, and replies to your scheduling questions. No marketing.
- How you sign up: you give us your mobile number and agree to receive appointment texts. We ask when you book by phone, and you can also agree on our intake forms or website. Consent is not a condition of receiving services.
- How often: message frequency varies, usually a few messages per appointment.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- To stop: reply STOP to any message. We'll send one text confirming you're unsubscribed, and then no more texts. To start again, call us at 786-738-6468.
- For help: reply HELP, or call 786-738-6468.
- Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy: your mobile number and consent are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Using the website
Please use the website lawfully and don't try to disrupt it, access it without permission, or use it to send unlawful content. The website's text, logos and images belong to Mental Health of Miami or its licensors.

Our website may link to other sites, such as insurance companies or social media. We aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
